[The man on the screen is stocky and muscled, his dark eyes flashing with carefully controlled excitement. He claps his hands together, grinning with wild abandon. He's wearing what appears to be basic military wear, distinguished only by its tough material and dull-green color. The only sign of his authority is a small gold bone pinned to his ( Read more... )

[You will have a confused looking program on the screen.]

Zombie tipping? I have found my light disk already handles these undead Users very well. [Not that he liked killing them. They had been normal Users before.]

[The commander's eyebrows raise as he stares at Tron.]

Your...what?

[He'll reach back with his one hand to grab his disk off his back and then try to show it to him using the phone.]

This. My identity disk, or light disk if you prefer. It has many uses, one being as a thrown or melee weapon.

[The commander looks curiously at the weapon.]

You might already know it works against the brain-chewers, but I'd like to see it in action - if you don't mind, that is. I assume you're planning to help us out here in New Ashford?

[He grins grimly with the last sentence, pleased if that is in fact the case.]

So. I'm reckoning you're what passes for the law around here?

[The commander folds his arms, curiously raising one eyebrow.]

When it's needed...which isn't too often, to be honest. We're close here, in New Ashford - Living always are. We've been through too much - our families have been through too much together, to take advantage of each other...usually.

And any cases go before a council. I just stop any violence or threat.

[And that spells it all out for the devil hunter. Yeeeeah, he gets it.

He mimics the commander's pose, right down to the sardonically lifted eyebrow.]

Uh huh. Well, what needs killing?

[The commander grins, eyes sparkling with amusement.]

Brain-chewers, mind-munchers, Living-eaters. You might have seen them on your way here. Z&B look a lot like them, except for the eyes.

You must be Commander Leadswell. My name is Yata and this is my friend Kereellis. [He then looks at the puppet on his left hand.]

So, what do you think, Kereellis? Should we go...?

YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO FIGHT THOSE ROTTEN THINGS EVENTUALLY, KIDDO. I'D SAY IT'S BETTER TO DO IT UNDER SUPERVISION.

Yeah. You're right. [He looks back at the screen and nods.] We'll be there, sir.

[The commander's eyebrows raise.]

And your friend there, is he going to fight, too, young man?

[He smirks a little, but his eyes are good-natured and friendly.]

[Yuji blinks and looks down at the puppet again. He's taking the commander's question seriously.] Well, no... not exactly. He'll be too busy helping me out to do any fighting of his own.

[Commander Leadswell decides to take that with the seriousness the answer was offered in for diplomacy sake.]

Very well then. Let's see what you're capable of as a team.

[Authority, hm? Well, CLU can't help but smirk on the screen, almost amused at this User's enthusiastic approach to their arrival and then the zombies. Perhaps he could gather some information in regards to these strange Users.]

Why don't you tell me more about these "zombies", User.

[The commander's eyebrows raise.]

Tell you about the brain-chewers? What do you need to know other than that they want to eat your spleen for breakfast and your eyes for tea?

Is that so? [He can't help but be amused at the capabilities of these "infected" Users.]

And why is that?

[Leadswell snorts derisively.]

We don't know why - might be that they're hungry, might just be what the Dromos tell them to do. Either way, you end up without your spleen...so does the 'why' really matter?
