America? What? I don't- Nevermind. Umbrella was in many nations, but I think this answers my question.
[He was really confused now. Was he supposed to find other Americans and talk to them? Were different cultures not meant to mix? Maybe things were different here.]

Da. America, but if it's multinational, you might want to ask England and Prussia too! I don't recall ever having deals with something called Umbrella. I think you must have hit your head pretty hard.

I can shoot a gun, but that doesn't mean I will hit my target. No one wants to fight? Are they dumb? I would love to learn, because I'd like to defend myself. It's not safe to depend on others and it's not safe to stick in one area all the time. Eventually, those things will get through the defenses. If not today, it could be tomorrow. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want them getting their hands on me.
[He seemed to be talking about countries as people. That didn't make sense at all.]
Well, I know there is a facility in Russia. Umbrella supplies most of the world with it's medical supplies. I have never heard of anyone not knowing of it. I'll just assume they really aren't here.

[He looked around briefly.] You said you had some experience with these things? Just what are they, exactly? They don't seem to be unversed, and I can't feel anything special about them. It's like they don't have a heart.

I do have experience with zombies. Zombies are essentially walking corpses. It seems they are a bit different here then from where I came from, but the basics should still be the same. The brain or spinal chord should be the weak point. They hunger for the flesh of the living, like you or even myself. While slow, they could be used as a proper weapon in large groups, as it would be more complicated to get away from them. In a way, you would be right, zombies don't have hearts. The dead have no need for that organ, as blood travelling through the circulatory system would have stopped. In my home, the effects of a zombie were brought on by a virus, but I wont understand what makes them tick here without getting my hands on one.
[What a mouthful. Perhaps he was a bit crazy, but he really would love to get his hands on the dead. With the proper equipment, he might be able to figure them out.]

[He continued to dissect the man's talking points. He was a good listener, at least for the most part.] You really don't need to thank me though. It's what we do. I'm a peacekeeper. [He flashed a smile for a brief moment.] I'd be lying to you if I told you I knew how to operate that weapon of yours, but my blade has never failed me once! [he's not about to tell you about how he can't use magic or transform it. That would be a rather embarrassing story.]
But, that said, do you need to get one of those things alive or dead to see what's causing them to come back?

I seemed to have forgotten to bring my laboratory with me. Until I find the proper equipment, I would have no way of knowing what is bringing them back in this place.
