Direction

Sekai brought up a good point that I've been wondering over for a while now. It's very simple, and it's one that everyone wonders about. But there's good reason to wonder about it really.

Where is my life going? What direction do I want it to take? What can I do to get it there?

Wow, whenever I write entries this long they're almost completely filled with emo-tasm and angst. Shows you have some skill of a journal-writer to be able to write at this length and not have an undercurrent of, "I HATE THE WORLD!!!"

In any case, I have three comments to make. First is a piece of advice as regards to college: go to Junior College or Community College for two years to get your Associate's degree first. The reason for this is that all of the credits from junior/community college will transfer over to whatever bigger school you decide to go to, and the credits at junior college cost a lot less than credits at any big school. At California's JC it's only 20 bucks a unit, so it's very cheap. Plus, there's a scholarship that's very nice. So, it's really tempting to do that, were it not for the fact that I want to be with her.

Second, for reasons that you don't know just yet, I laughed my ass off at the fourth paragraph. Sorry if that makes you feel uncomfortable, but it's true. Not for a bad reason at all, it's just in a context that you don't know about yet.

And since I'm going to school, I can't snag 40 hours a week at a job. I know that's not the only option, but I think that temp agencies like people who are working full time, not as a part time student.
