Last night I hung out with Adric while he finished up Mass Effect 2, then at around 2:30am I went back to my apartment, got into my pajamas, and lay in bed reading up on some of the aliens in ME2 on Wikipedia

Okay I just happened to glance at the tags on this entry. Fiancé? Did I miss something awesome or is that just a lulz-y tag?

Because I collect how-we-met and engagement stories, like most normal people collect teapots.

Which I also collect.

But seriously did I miss something I should have totally congratulated you on? And/or did it happen but nothing was mentioned about it so I'm not as horrible as I feel for missing it?

Oh yeah, Adric and I are engaged. I did actually mention the engagement bit in my epically long recap post, but I myself was surprised to find that when I went back in my LJ to see what I wrote when we met and started dating, there's... Nothing. He just sort of appears. I think maybe I will make a post dedicated to the story though? And I'll include a recap of the recap.

I would certainly love it if you did because I do not remember you ever writing about meeting him, and I really don't remember any notice that you're engaged. And I do like you a lot so there's that, plus (again) I just really adore hearing both kinds of stories.

But only if you want to, if it's more of a "meh" thing there's no rush or demand just kind of a "Hey I'm interested if you're willing."
