So in 2006 Wisconsin ended up getting one of those dumb-ass anti-marriage, anti-civil-union, anti-domestic-partnership constitutional bans. I'm pretty sure this is what my "ask me why I'm voting NO on the ban" button is referring to (I could not actually vote "no," sadly, as I wasn't old enough, but my parents did). Hahaha. Yeah, my friend aevenstar lives in Iowa these days and she (as well as her gay best friend) was very excited. I should really watch the Daily Show but I don't know when it's on or what channel it is here. << I suppose I could watch it online (and I do sometimes for some segments) but that's a little too like extreme procrastination
