Lovely lovely Ron, who really has progressed to at least the emotional depth of a ladle by now, sweet Harry and Ginny, and your Neville is adorable. Love how Harry and Ron both think they're playing the other.

And I think I'll be making that lasagne at some point ...

:) Thanks, Em. I had tons of fun writing Harry and Ron in this.

And I had to make lasagne while I was working on this, although I didn't use this recipe. I think I'm going to have to try it, too, at some point.

I am squeeing up a storm over here. This is so perfect, I cannot thank you enough!

When I first started reading it and I thought it was a pining!Potter fic I was excited because I love Harry pining, but you made it even more wonderful with all of your wonderful twists. And Neville! Neville is so lovely and I just want to squeeze him in this. Ron is absolutely hilarious and he and Harry are just the bromanciest bromancers ever to bromance.

All of Harry and Ginny's moments are so sweet and fun and them, I love it.

But most of all, lasagna! It's fate I tell you. I literally had a half-hour one-sided conversation today with my father about my lasagna obsession (which has been developing over the last year and a half). I love making lasagna, I love eating lasagna, I love watching people make lasagna, I love learning how other people make lasagna, so having Harry make lasagna from a family recipe that he'd recovered with all these little gifts and glimpses from his parents in it, it was so, so perfect ( ... )

Oh, yay! I'm so glad you liked it (and I'm so sorry it's late!). I had the most fun ever writing this for you. I love writing Harry and Ron like this anyway, but then you asked for Neville (whom I totally fangirl), and it was the perfect prompt for me.

That lasagna thing... Really? *boggles* That was a last minute change in their menu (and I really don't know why I decided to change it, just that I had a feeling I should), so it really must be fate. :)

What fun!! I love the twist at the end. Ron isn't as clueless as we all thought. LOL.

And you should hear my text reader say Lasagna, I won't even try to spell it as it says it. Good thing I glanced at the story while I was loading it or I'd never have known what Harry was making.

I liked that he had the recipe from his Mum, that was a great touch.

I loved Neville, you always do him well, must be cuz you love him.

Great story!!

:) Thanks, Sue! Nope, Ron's not as clueless as we all thought (or, at least, he's not as clueless as Harry thought), and Neville's always a joy for me to write (as I'm sure you know).

LOL about the lasagna pronunciation. :)

*glomps you*

Aw, I feel like I've been to a wonderful party! Love all the "bro mance" moments and H/G of course. Harry finding his mum's recipe was the perfect touch. Great job!
