I think about what became of the Dursleys after the war. I don't think Harry would be forgiving towards Vernon, but at one time Lily and Petunia were close, and I like to think that Petunia would regret her treatment of Harry. It was so nice to read your take on this.

I loved your description of Hermione - Hermione who could always tell what Harry was up to even before Harry had figured it out himself. Hermione who could suss out wrong-doing from ten miles away. Hermione who could smell mischief on either Harry or Ron from Hagrid's hut through three locked doors at Hogwarts. Just perfect.

I loved Molly as secret keeper for the Dursleys -and how she knew they were up to something about the Dursleys! Mums just know everything don't they?

I am so happy that you liked this! That's the most stressful thing about exchanges - someone is going to be counting on your offering and you always hope it measures up. I agree with your feelings about the Dursleys. I think as time passed, the dynamics in the relationship between Harry and Petunia would change, but I didn't want it to be too warm and lovey-dovey, so I'm glad that you felt it was realistic.
