So, I came in expecting a short snippet of Sylar and Mohinder and puppies and yay, and then there was this amazing concoction of a fic! I love how we see the journey through an entire year; it makes the final coupling more real, because they worked toward it, and didn't just fall in together because they were simply "meant to be" (even though...they totally are).
And how sweet/sad was it to see Sylar crying because of Brandon's death? That was probably my favorite part of this whole fic. And not only because I have a love for woobie!Sylar. The fact that he made the step up from just donating money to getting genuinely emotionally involved with a cancer kid, and then the said cancer kid dying... It was rough, but I think it was absolutely necessary for Sylar to change completely into Gabriel again. It was a kind of test, I think, to make his new and sparkly life become a real deal lifestlye.
Oh God, how I've rambled. Thanks for such a wonderful fic!

oh my heart!! this was so wonderful for this time of year. i really loved sylar trying to make up for everything, and mohinder of course being resistant at first. it came together so nicely with them in the end. i loved it! :D

Aww! I really like how you fulfilled the prompt, and I thought it was great that Mohinder was wary of Sylar's acts of redemption at first, especially when he was simply giving money to charity. The mental image of Sylar with the puppies was also really, really cute :)
