Ianto found himself waking a little, shifting slightly as he did as he felt himself being pulled closer to someone else in the bed with him. Sulu, he remembered vaguely. Sulu had come down and they'd talked a little and...well, they must have come upstairs at some point, but he'd be damned if he remembered doing that very well at all. He'd had a pretty good amount to drink the night before, and he was also pretty sure that he'd been half asleep for the latter part of their interactions, so.

Making a little noise in response to Sulu wrapping himself around him further, Ianto shifted slightly, letting the fact that he wasn't asleep anymore be known, but not really wanting to open his eyes or get up or...move at all, really, in that moment. He'd had a lot to drink the night before, and though it wasn't making him sick, he was groggy as all else and just lying there with Sulu as a warm presence at his back sounded like a pretty good idea to him at the moment.

When Ianto shifted, Sulu pressed closer to him, tightening his grip just a bit more. He knew Ianto wasn't going to be the most clearheaded this morning, but then again... he remembered promising to take Ianto out today. Him taking Ianto out, for once, even if it wasn't to a bar or something where he could pay. It was a good thought, really, and he grinned sleepily into Ianto's back.

He couldn't help but feel a little excited - he'd be more so if he were more awake - and so he nudged Ianto with his hip a little, as if that would wake the other up. He knew he'd need to be more forceful, but they could also take all the time they wanted. Well. So long as Torchwood didn't interfere.

Ianto made a noise as the other man nudged him again, rolling slightly onto his stomach so that he could hide his face and move as far away from the offending person waking him up there as he could. Which wasn't so much of a move away, seeing as how Sulu's arm was around his chest and his legs tangled in Ianto's own, so much as it was a roll onto his stomach, so that he could bury his face in the pillow and not have to deal with the idea of waking up, despite the fact that he...was technically already awake. Ianto had had a lot to drink the night before, and while he wasn't hung over he was not in top form by any means. Sulu was lucky that he was even functioning at that moment. He could have just rolled over and gone straight back to sleep and ended it all right then and there, after all.

It wasn't as though Sulu didn't know how sleepy Ianto was - hell, he was still sleepy, and he could probably do with another few hours of sleep - but the fact was that his memory was reminding him that he could now... well, he could take Ianto out, take him flying and to an alien planet, show him all the things he'd promised to show him before -

"Ianto," he groaned, going so far as to roll over enough so that his chest was pressed again to Ianto's back, his legs shifting to straddle Ianto's thighs, rather than stay tangled up. "I know you're awake. You can't hide from me."
