i'm really sorry but i can't help.
i never told my mom about erik, she found out about him in a bad way.
and then she decided to be insanely crazy cool and be totally okay with our relationship.
i was basically shocked out of my mind.
the only advice i guess would be to tell him how much both of you genuinely like eachother.
& that your intentions are good and just hope that they believe you i guess.
because it's at least worth a shot.
