"...the shoulders of a young MAN."

Hi! I'm alive! But just barely. Mostly I came back because I have a five-day weekend that started an hour ago and I've got a cold and I'm looking for every excuse possible to avoid the mountains of homework that must get done over my break. Because graduate school is a horrible, evil place to which no one should go. But I digress ( Read more... )

I haven't watched tonight's episode, but I'm soooooooooooo sick of Red John. I hate when tv draws out the "big bad" for too long, and they have definitely hit that point for me with Red John. They shouldn't left it as it seemed in last season's finale. :/

The first episode of Merlin was so great! I loved it. I can't wait for the next one. <3

I agree! That's why I thought S3 finale was so good! I thought they were ending the Red John storyline. Well, ending it in terms of them killing Red John, I wouldn't have minded there being RJ fall-out, not just in the sense that Jane should've stayed in trouble longer, but also I wouldn't have minded copycats or someone trying to reclaim RJ by killing more in his name or something along that line. But I don't think it's necessary to drag it on and on with is he/isn't he dead and all that. So yeah, I agree that they should've left it as it was.

Merlin! :D

I love that gif so much. Mostly because it's just perfect for them. Jared being his big puppy self and Jensen running away and I can practically hear the words from Jared's mouth so well that it's hard to believe he didn't actually say them. :P ( ... )

Oh, the Mentalist. I really enjoyed last night's episode, but I feel like the writers basically decided to pretend that the S3 finale didn't happen. Jane got out of jail far, far too quickly and easily. He is a murderer now, and they really haven't addressed that. I don't know, GAH ( ... )

I approve of your headcanon. I do think that it's a little weird that they would chose a person like Bradley Whitford, who is an acting GOD, and then like, say he's not RJ. So yeah, I can buy that he was the one who killed Jane's family - I mean, he knew that stuff about his family about how they smelled and stuff, and I'd like to believe that he wasn't just told that. So yeah, he was the RJ who killed Jane's family. And all the other RJs are like, "Hell yes, let's sit here and watch THAT implode" with regard to Jane's sanity. I applaud you. I just hope that Jane doesn't feel the need to kill more people. BAAAASICALLY I just don't want Jane becoming a serial killer. "Good guy" or not. Ya know ( ... )

I KNOW! How can you have Bradley Whitford kick ass as the most creepy, badass RJ there could ever be and then just pull the carpet out from under it all? He was just TOO convincing. He was perfect. Therefore, my headcannon, that he was indeed the one who killed Jane's family, even if he didn't kill many of the other RJ victims. I ALSO don't want Jane to become a serial killer. I honestly thought the taking of even ONE human life would pretty much be the end of him, either because he would end up in jail forever or he would have a huge crisis like "what have I done??? what does anything even mean???" or both. I hope that jail never kills again. I hope that, presented with another such target and opportunity, he would not take it. Because he would have realized that IT DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING ( ... )
