More like the hippie who believes in free love and baked goods. Sam is more likely the good cop.

If he had known it was going to get him a stern conversation about the guy in the basement, he might have tried to hold out for a little while longer.
Regardless, Sam is heading downstairs, chewing on his cookie. He grabs one of the chairs there, and spins it around in front of him, settling down so that he's straddling the chair backwards]

Look. I get the whole redemption thing. I'm on one of those roads myself. But Elle is my friend, and she means a lot to my brother, so you understand why we're being cautious, right? There's not a lot of us that could take you on and make it through to the other side.
