melacita (I'm referring to Mel, of course... I seem to have forgotten how to do that 'lj user' tag...[ETA: Haha, NOW it's working!! It's like riding a BIKE!!!]) started it, so here we go...

WorkWork has been crazy during the last two years. Hubby and I moved to Berlin 2 years ago because of my work. Things have been declining work-wise for a year or two ( Read more... )

LJ REVIVAL!!!!!!!

I'm so sorry about your job. I was laid off from the college I'd been working for going on six years in April. I'm now in a job where I'm much happier!! Though I know what you mean, I was SCARED about not having any income and it was rough for awhile. Actually, we're still digging out of the hole unemployment left us in financially, but all in all, it's for the best and I'm really happy how things worked out! I know the same will happen for you!!

I hope you're going to start posting more too! Perhaps about these projects you want to work on!

Unfortunately, I'm the only one (in our family of two, but still) with an (or "a real") income. So if that falls through, it's down to nothing, basically. Fortunately I do qualify for unemployment money and I have at least a little money left after my work truly finishes at the end of October. So, here's to hoping things will work out somehow!!

I'm really liking this lj revival, btw!!! *hugs*

Hey Ani! I didn't even know you read my lj!!! *is excited* I adore your posts about Eisdildos and everything (even if I don't have a clue about the goings on at Teen Wolf and Verbotene Liebe), but I love reading your lj (and I do so avidly, even if I never comment. Sorry!! *sadface*)!

Omg hello! Well, if I'm around (if you read my journal you know I sometimes disappear *cough) I do read all of my FList, of course! Looks as if we've got stuff in common with the not always commenting, I guess, so no worries ;) So yeah, of course I'm here and am very excited, too, because I love seeing so much action on my reading list :))

Oh yes, I'm right there with you, that's a grand plan!

Sorry to hear about the job, it's scary at first, but I'm sure you'll get offered something interesting and great!
Your CV is awesome and you will probably find something you want to do way before the end of the year.
It took me about 3 weeks and I started 2 weeks later.
Nice to catch up :) I like this LJ revival!
