James Gordon was finishing off a piece of pizza. He'd folded it over so he could walk with it. For once, he had a night off. ...Of course, he knew what that meant. He scanned the skyline as he walked.
Where was she?
Every time he got a night off-- he swore it was every time without fail-- the Huntress appeared with some warning or concern. Just once-- once-- he'd like to get through a night to himself without her showing up. He'd managed to take his mom out to dinner, which was amazing enough, but he knew-- he just knew-- he wouldn't get to make it to a bar

"Long as you can trust her," James said quietly. He wasn't trying to insult Duela. He meant it sincerely, more out of concern, even if it didn't come out entirely right.
"What, trust her not to get us lost? It's just a vacation," Dalia said. Then more seriously, she added, "She's never done anything to physically harm me, and I don't think she ever would. Or let anyone else, for that matter."
James nodded. "Just... look after yourself, okay? You'd be nuts to come back here after seeing Europe, but... I'd like you to come back in one piece, okay?"
"I should go..." Dalia glanced past him, realizing she was going to have to run herself all the way back home. She didn't want him to take her home. If anyone ever found out about what she'd done...
