Chapter 6
I ended up waking up later then I had wanted today, but decided it was all for the better.  That way, other people would be awake also.

I was so excited, for today was the day of my revenge!

I couldn’t stop smiling as I got dressed. ‘Today, Kyu, you’re going to get your just desserts.’ I thought as I headed down to the kitchen area.

I saw Ryeowook like I hoped I would. Smiling, I went and sat next to him. “Hey Ryeowook, you have anything planned for today?”

He looked up, startled “Huh?”

I must have surprised him.

Grinning, I asked again. “Do you have anything planned for today? If not, how about we go out to the mall today?”

He looked at me funny. “Just the two of us will go?”

“No. If you want, you can go ask Kyuhyun if he wants to come and I’ll even go ask Hangeng if he wants to come also. It’s just been forever since we have hung out together and I miss it.” I finished flashing him a teasing, sad look.

He just started smiling “Sure that sounds like a great idea. Let me go ask Kyu right now, and then I’ll go get ready.”

I nodded as he ran out.

I went in to the common room knowing Hangeng was there from when I walked by it earlier. I saw him sitting next to Zhoumi and Heechul. Heechul was in the process of telling something that involved lots of arm waving and fast Korean. I was sure Hangeng understood about half that but he listened like he got it all. I felt my eye twitch again. “Hey Hangeng?” I asked.

He looked up, startled. “Yes?”

“I was wondering if you wanted to join me and Ryeowook at the mall today. Kyuhyun is probably going to go too.” His eyes kind of hardened at that.

“No thanks. I was going to hang out with Zhoumi today.”

I saw out of the corner of my eye Zhoumi throw him a look like it was the first he heard of it. ‘So now he’s lying to get out of time with me. What the hell?’ “Okay, I just thought I would ask. Have fun.”

I looked around and saw Kibum sitting in the corner talking with Donghae. I felt the memories from last night start to surface, but I pushed them back. ‘Now is not the time to bring it up to him. He needs to be happy right now.’ I managed to catch his eye and raised my eyebrow at him. He just nodded and went back to talking with him.

Just as I was turning back around, Ryeowook was coming down the stairs with Kyuhyun in tow. Kyuhyun was flashing me suspicious looks. I smiled. “Great. Are we ready to go?” I asked. They nodded. “Let’s go.”

As we were leaving, I saw Kibum excuse himself from talking to Donghae. I smiled knowing everything was going as planned.

We got to the mall with minimum bickering. At least, nothing that would show Ryeowook that Kyuhyun and I were at each other’s throats. It would seem Kyuhyun decided to be good today. So other than the occasional predatory glare when I got too friendly with Ryeowook, nothing terrible happened.

Walking through the mall, we talked about random things. I decided to needle Kyuhyun some and started talking about things in mine and Ryeowook’s past. It was petty, I know, but I noticed Kyuhyun’s eye developing the same eye twitch mine has every time we started laughing over a memory we shared.

It was nearing lunch and instead of leaving, we decided to eat in the mall.

Which was fine, it meant we were giving more time for Kibum to work his magic. I brought up the subject of Henry for I hadn’t been seeing him lately. “Yea I honestly haven’t been seeing much of him, either. A lot of the times I’ve tried to call him, he has been over at the dance studio practicing so he could join them for the recital.” Ryeowook was saying, looking puzzled.

I looked at him sharply “Dance studio? Is he by himself or with others?”

“Umm, I honestly don’t know. I don’t think he’s by himself.” He said. I could feel my mind spinning and what I heard Kyuhyun say next did not make me feel better.

“Oh, Ryeowook, don’t you remember? The other night Henry said he was going to practice a dance Donghae was helping him with. He said something about it being for the recital audition.” I could feel myself paling at his words ‘Please oh please let it be innocent practice.’ I knew I was going to have to talk to Kibum about Eunhyuk, but I didn’t want to have to include Henry. I couldn’t actually say anything until I was sure of what I saw.

“Hey, Ryeowook, can you let me know when Henry goes and practices with Donghae again?” I ended up asking him.

“Why?” he replied, surprised.

“So I can go keep Kibum company.” I laughed in a way I hoped sounded real. From the look I got from Kyuhyun he wasn’t fooled but I didn’t care what he thought.
It was getting late and I knew we needed to head home soon to prevent it from seeming like I was keeping them out on purpose. “Hey, before we head back to the dorm, let’s run by the pet store. I need to get some stuff for my turtle.” I asked, hoping to delay them a little more.

Getting to the pet store, Ryeowook went right back to the puppies and kittens just like I thought he would, and where Wookie went I knew Kyuhyun was going to follow him.

I headed back to the reptile section. As I was going, I sent Kibum a text message asking if he was done yet. I was walking to back to Kyu and Wookie when I got his reply. I had to stop and turn to hide my evil smile.

He was done.

I turned and started walking back to them.

As I walked up, I heard Kyuhyun talking about going to Wookie’s room tonight to watch a movie or show. I was actually happy he was doing that because I had a feeling he would fall asleep and not find out what was done until tomorrow.

“So are we ready to go? I already got my stuff.” I said, holding up my bag of supplies.

It was a pretty uneventful trip back to the dorms. Kyuhyun and Ryeowook talked about the show they were going to watch tonight and I would occasionally speak up, but other than that, I was silent.

When we got back to the dorm, Ryeowook let me know he had a good time and that we have to do it again sometime. Then, he took off with Kyuhyun, who was still giving me the evil eye, up to his bedroom to watch the show.

I peeked into the common room to see if Kibum was there. All I saw was Kangin and Sungmin playing one of the games in the corner and Heechul and Siwon watching TV with Leeteuk and Shindong.

“Hey, Siwon, is Kibum up in the room?” I asked, hoping to not have to look for him.

It was Heechul that answered. “Yeah, he’s up there. He went up there not long after we left it.”

Seriously, does he ever let Siwon talk?

“Wow, Siwon. Your voice got bitchier and more feminine.” I said.

Siwon just blushed and all I saw was Heechul flipping me off as I ran up towards Kibum’s room. I didn’t bother knocking and rushed in. “So how did it go? What did you do?”

He turned and smirked. “I’ll tell you when you give me the tickets like you promised.”

I reached in my back pocket, pulling out the two concert tickets my cousin sent me for some band I didn’t even like. “So who are you going to take?” Hoping he’d say anyone but Donghae.

“I’m going to surprise Donghae with it right before it. The date is not long after the recital, right?”

I could do nothing but nod to let him know. I knew I should tell him before the concert but I knew he was looking forward to it.

So to change the subject, I asked “So what exactly did you do?”

Kibum laughed. “Yesung, have you ever been Rick Rolled?”

“What?”

He laughed again. “It’s going to be amazing. Trust me.”

I wasn’t letting him go that easy. “What did you do?”

“Let’s just say I’ve rigged Kyuhyun’s computer and sound system. The second he starts his computer, this really old American song will blast through all of his speakers at full volume.”

I was a bit disappointed. “That’s it?”

“No. It doesn’t end there. He won’t be able to stop the song or turn the volume down until it’s over. On top of that, he’ll get about a thousand or so pop-up messages that will take a good hour to click through. The song will keep repeating until he gets through them all.”

I laughed. “Kibum, my friend, you are a genius.”
