So. My brain thought of a new novel idea while I was out today at my nephew's birthday picnic.

To go with it or not to.

What's the idea?

It's kinda urban fantasy. I haven't worked out a great deal aside from the main character and the setting.

Ah. Hmmm.Well,I say go with it. It seems to be interesting enough.

My advice would be to write it down and save it for later, until you're finished with your current project. This happens to me all the time, I get seduced by new ideas, and that's why I have a hard drive full of stories with no endings.
