Moshi mo : Chapter 6

Nov 25, 2010 00:48

“I’m exhausted!” Riko breadth out, as she slumped onto the bed after their rehearsal. “AH! When will Johnny-san be letting us off, and ask us to stop posing as boys? It’s tiring!” Riko complained, as she rolled up and down her bed.

“But, don’t you think it’s interesting?” Aiko commented, when Riko have realized that Aiko was already out of her disguise, and was dressed in her pajamas, her hair pinned up with a clip, and in front of her laptop. “Yea, but still ...” Riko moaned, “Tiring!”

Aiko turned back, and continued clicking on her laptop. Riko sat lied on the bed, with her hands below her chins, as she looked at Aiko. She knows that Aiko have a competition coming up, and adding on, the mid-term project. It looks like she’s going to get busy. Riko looked at Aiko, and slowly her eyelids got heavy, and she dozed off.

The next morning, Riko was woken up by the alarm she had set the previous day. This morning, she wasn’t late! She has confirmed her lecture timing, it was in the afternoon, and the rehearsal of JUMP will be late evening, around 6pm. Since her lecture only lasts for two hours, she didn’t need to rush, oh well; Aiko’s is from 3pm to 4pm though.

Riko rubbed her eyes, as she gazed up. She saw Aiko was still typing and clicking away on her laptop. “Aiko, you didn’t sleep last night?”

Aiko turned around, and stretched her arms. “Good morning, Riko-chan. Yea, didn’t sleep, but managed to complete a little of the mid-term projects. At least I combined a few,”

“Aiko! That’s bad for health!” Riko said, as she got up, and flicked Aiko’s forehead. Aiko bowed down, and apologized. She stood up, and attempted to pour a glass of water, when the world started spinning. She held onto the table, and plunged down onto the seat again. “Aiko!” Riko screamed, as she helped the girl onto the bed. Riko ran over the apartment like crazy, searching for something to give Aiko.

But, what should she get?

“Riko, just make me a cup of coffee will do,” Aiko instructed. Upon hearing, Riko hurriedly went over to the kitchen to make a cup of warm coffee. Aiko took it over, and sipped it slowly. Her conscious regained, and she felt much better. “Thanks, I’m glad you’re here,” Aiko replied, smiling.

The two of them got dressed up in their clothing.  Aiko wore a green summer dress, with flowery pattern, while Riko wore a crimson red dress, with a ribbon tied at the waist.

Walking slowly, Riko was been cautious to make sure Aiko doesn’t feel dizzy again. “Riko, don’t worry so much,” Aiko spoke, as she flipped her hair back her shoulders. “I’m fine,”

Riko smiled, and continued walking, uttering nothing.

They reached their school at 1pm. Riko have an hour to spare to her lecture, while for Aiko has another two hours. It’s another collaborated project lecture, since the teacher wanted to brief more on the project. Riko sighed, “Why isn’t the Animation Department with Literature Department instead?”

Aiko laughed at that suggestion, “Riko! That’s impossible, how are you going to collaborate with me?”

“I’ll write a report, and you’ll make it into a video?” Riko sticks out her tongue, and pouted. “I am all shy and excited when I’m with the YamaJima! And plus the fact, they can’t find out I’m Ryuu!”  She whispered with a desperate facial expression. Aiko giggled, and took out her laptop, and started spamming Twitter.

Sugiharaaiko    @takasugiriko is been silly all over again.

Riko looked down to her watch, as she got up, taking her bag. “I think I’m going in early, so that I can ask lecturer the project criteria and stuffs,” Riko said. Aiko looked up, and nodded her head. “Alright, see you later then,” Riko waved to her, and Aiko was left at the cafeteria’s table alone.

Doing video is a tedious thing. After all, it required a lot of time, but even with all those effort only a few minutes of video was produced.

‘Why did I choose Animation in the first place?’ Aiko bit her rubber band in her mouth, as she grabbed part of her hair, and tie it up, before she flipped it back to her shoulders.

She continued clicking away on the software, until she got tired. She then went into her blogger, and updated her fanfiction, since she had nothing to do. Then, a beeping sound was heard on her computer. She looked, and realized it was Riko.

“IT’S YAMAJIMA BESIDE ME AGAIN!” Riko typed, spamming her window continuously. Aiko giggled at her friend’s hyper-self. Looking down at her desktop’s clock, she realized it was 2:54pm already.

“I’m heading off to my lecture now, I’ll see you later,” Aiko replied, and she signed off. Riko sighed, as she looked over to the YamaJima pair beside her. She gazed down, and realized that their hands were interlocked together. Riko squealed inside and grinned. ‘This is so going to become a fanfiction.’

Aiko slowly walked over to her lecture hall, when someone called her. She turned back, and realized it was Chinen. “Aiko-chan, let’s walk together!” Aiko shyly nodded her head, as they walked over to their lecture room. Nobody was inside yet, so they settled down in one of the seats, and Aiko started typing in her laptop once again.

“What’re you doing?” Chinen asked, as he looked at Aiko. Aiko looked at him, “My competition video,”

“What’s the subject about?” Chinen asked, as he inched closer to Aiko.

“Beauty,”

Chinen’s mouth turned into an oval shape, and he asked no more question when he saw Aiko going back to her computer, vigorously doing her video, ignoring the surroundings. Her attention came back only when the lecture started.

Finally the long one hour lecture was over, and Aiko walked out of her room. “AIKO!” Riko called. Aiko run towards her, and they giggled. Realizing it was only 4:30pm, they decided to stroll around the university. As they were getting ready to walk off, the three members have stopped them.

“Aiko-chan, Riko-chan, care to have a drink with us?” Yuto asked. Riko looked at Aiko, and Aiko just shrugged her shoulders. Riko nodded, who would reject such a great offer?

“Here,” Chinen said, as he placed down the drinks. He had lost the bet, and was made to treat everybody’s a drink.

“Do both of you have hobbies?” Ryousuke asked, as he sipped onto his orange juice. Riko and Aiko looked at each other, and once again, they have mutually agreed that dancing should be kept as a secret.  “Um, Singing?” Aiko replied. Riko looked over, and gave a look of ‘Nice One!’

In what way was that a good answer?

Yuto, Ryosuke and Chinen just went amused, and didn’t say anything. Riko looked down to her watch, and realized it was 5pm. Riko nudged Aiko, and Aiko stood up, as she grabbed her bag. “Eto~ we have something on, ne?” Riko took her bag, and got dragged off by Riko. “See you guys tomorrow then!”

Yuto, Ryosuke, and Chinen just looked at both of the girls walked off in hurry.

“HERE! HERE!” Riko shouted, as she dragged Aiko in the the boy’s toilet which was near the cafeteria.

It was their daily routine, having to do this every time. Sometimes, they wondered, why can’t they go to Jimusho to dress up? Probably, they can. They’ll talk it to Johnny next time. Riko and Aiko put on their wig, and wore their clothing for the day.

Aiko wore her light blue shirt, and white shorts, with her pink sneakers. Riko wore her yellow star-printed shirt, and brown baggy three-quarter pants, and yellow sneakers. Coming out, they adjusted their clothing, before grabbing their bags, and running off.

“LATE! Why are the two always the last to come!?” Hikaru complained, as he tapped his feet onto the floor, and looked at the clock. Yuto and Ryosuke were snuggling up to each other, and Chinen was fooling around with Takaki. “Who knows, maybe they have a big secret!” Ryutaro screamed, as he moved his hands. Keito have grabbed his hands down, and nodded. “Yes yes,”

The door was flunked open, and the both girls were panting non-stop again. “Sorry! We’re late!”

Yabu walked over, and signaled the others to follow. “It’s ALMOST late,” the two of them laughed at each other, before placing down their bag and went to the rehearsal.

It was weird, because Yuto, Ryosuke and Chinen didn’t notice that they carried the same bag as Riko and Aiko, the two girls back in university.

“Alright, One Two, Three Four. Nakajima, please feel the beat more accurately!”  Akiyama sounded, as he clapped his hands. Akiyama then called for a break as the others finally toppled onto the floor.
“I’m tired! First, it’s school, and now it’s rehearsal! I wonder how our seniors managed to get through the times!” Ryousuke exclaimed, as he falled onto Yuto’s laps.

Yuto just patted the older boy’s head, as he wiped away the perspiration found on the sides of his forehead. Aiko have grabbed over a bottle of water, and gulped it down. Riko then nudged Aiko, and Aiko looked up to her, seeing her devilish smile.

Aiko stood up, and walked over to Akiyama. “Akiyama sensei, can we borrow your speakers? We want to practice our own chorography dance,” Akiyama widened his eyes.  How much more can these girls’s go?

Akiyama nodded her head, and Riko beamed. Taking out her iPod, she plucked it in. This time, it was NEWS song. The other ten members stood there, as they glanced at the two girls dancing.

First, it was Riko doing break-dance on the floor, with all the dangerous movements that the other members swore they could never do that. Next, Aiko took the ground, and started doing back-flips continuously, and doing the same movements as what Riko did. She tried synchronizing with Akiyama’s dance steps. Akiyama stood at the side, as he observed the two girls. Their dance steps were far more hip-hop, and far much better than his. But, their steps didn’t suit JUMP, that’s one thing for sure.

At the end, Aiko started to feel a little dizzy, as she staggered, but her back-flip and fast reacting movement managed to save her. She kneeled on the ground, with Riko rushing up beside her. “Akira! Are you okay?”

“I’m fine,” Akira said, as she shaked her head. “MOU! That’s the consequences for not sleeping!” Riko screamed, hitting Aiko hard on the head. Yabu have walked up towards the two, and Hikaru came up, as they helped Aiko towards the seat. “Here, this will help,” Yabu passed Aiko a sweet, and she popped it into her mouth. Indeed, she felt refresh.

“Thank you, Yabu-senpai,”

“No problem,”

Chinen walked over, with a cup of coffee in his hand. “Here, coffee,” Riko rejected the cup of coffee, “He drank it this morning, too much caffeine in one day is bad for health,”

Chinen shrugged his shoulders, while Takaki came over, and took over the coffee. “I’ll drink it then!” Chinen just shake his head, and walked off. Akiyama had come over, and urged the guys to go and practiced. He then settled down beside where Aiko is sitting. “Akira-kun, don’t work too hard, health is important. And, remember, you are not to reveal your identity as a girl,”

Aiko and Riko eyes widened when they realized what Akiyama have said. They nodded their head, as Akiyama went back to the centre of the room, and guided the other JUMP members to the dance steps.

“Ugh, my head still hurts,” Aiko mumbled, as Riko helped her back to the dressing room. Riko took her bag, and managed to digged out some pandaols. “Here, hope this helps!” Riko said, as she poured her a cup of water. Yuto and Ryousuke have come in and looked at Riko and Aiko. The younger girl was making sure Aiko emptied her cup of water.

“Ne, Ryuu, you sure you aren’t dating with Akira-kun?” Ryousuke asked, looking at Riko. This made Riko widened her eyes, until it could nearly pop out. Aiko have accidentally choked on her water. Yuto covered the older boy’s mouth, and mumbled a Sorry to the both of them.

“Sorry, this boy tends to talk too much,” Yuto apologized.

Aiko looked at Riko, Riko looked back at Aiko.

In the first place, they’re not even boys, how can they be considered boyfriends? And, they’re just best friends!

“Yes, Yuto-kun, I can see the resemblance between both of you in the way you ask questions. We’re not dating!” Riko sarcastically replied and a pout formed on her lips. This alarmed Ryousuke and Yuto. Riko looked down, before she plunged onto the sofa. “It’s ... not like that,” Riko mumbled and ruffled her hair (wig).

“Ryuu, it’s okay,” Aiko said, her voice become low and calm.

Yuto and Ryousuke looked at each other, as they slowly etched their eyebrows.
