The smirk on the taller girl’s face never did get wiped off, as she and her friend walked out of the Tokyo Dome. Turning to her friend she squealed. “Aiko-chan, did you see?” She was Takasugi Riko, age 19. You could clearly see the stars in her eyes, and Aiko just laughed at her friend’s reaction.
Sugihara Aiko, age 20. “Of course I saw that. You were squealing all the way! Shouting YamaJima, YamaJima!” A blush crept up Riko’s cheeks, as she turned a little to look at the Tokyo Dome.
“You’re the same though, Aiko. You were shouting when Chinen looked at you.” A triumph smirk grazed Riko’s lips as she saw Aiko trying to deny it.
They were of the same age, just that Riko’s birthday had yet to reach. Breathing in the cool night air, Aiko closed her eyes and smiled. It has been a year since both of them had arrived here in Japan. “Aiko-chan. You’re thinking of Singapore again?” Riko was poking on Aiko’s puffed up cheeks, as they continued to walk through the park.
She just nodded, “It doesn’t really matter, since we’re here to study.” Twirling around in circles, Aiko just pulled on Riko’s hand and started to run.
“Aiko-chan! STOPPPPPP~”
Plopping down onto the sofa, Riko waited for Aiko to come out of the bath. She just stared out of the window. A soft smile appeared, and she approached the balcony. The hot summer air rushed into the apartment, fluttering her long hair.
The sun was shining brightly, and she heard Aiko coming out. “Your turn, be quick so we can pick a nice spot today.” Riko just whacked Aiko on the forehead before entering the bathroom with her stuffs.
“It’s your fault, since you bathe so slowly!”
When both of them went out of their apartment, they seem to be another person. They were now clad in baggy shirts and pants. Riko had her long hair all hidden in a cap, and was wearing a pair of yellow sneakers. Aiko had managed to pin up her hair, and wore bright pink sneakers. With their current outfit, they could easily be passed off as guys.
Riko was carrying a huge bag, and grumbling all the way, something about luck and losing to Aiko in the game. “We can do it here today!” With that, Riko placed her bag down, pulling out a container, a license and a radio out of her huge bag.
“So, what are we dancing today? Can I decide?” A huge grin was plastered on Riko’s lips when she saw Aiko nodding, and she placed a disk into the radio. Hitting the play button, she turned the volume knob to the maximum, and music started to blast out.
“Not this again. Didn’t we dance this a week ago?” Whining a little, Aiko started to join Riko in their stretching exercise. The pedestrians were now slowing down in their tracks, looking at what the two girls were doing.
Giving those people who have stopped her brightest smile, Riko bowed a little. Her smile than became a grin and she started to dance. Bouncing to the beat, Riko did a backflip and started the dance routine to the song.
Aiko was standing at the side currently, and clapping to the beat. Some of the passer-by was also clapping along with Aiko. Listening closer to the song, they then realized it was Shinku, a song by Hey! Say! JUMP.
And somehow, the track was an instrumental version. Fans of the Johnny group had stopped looking at Riko dancing and singing at the same time. They swore that there wasn’t an instrumental version being released. At the chorus, Aiko had joined in dancing and singing.
In the crowd of people, a man looked at the two people who were dancing. Nodding his head, he made a mental note.
“Love me, Show me, Tell me.” Their dance steps were exactly like the ones that have been performed, except for some parts; they were created by the two girls. As they danced, both of them never did stopped smiling, even for a second.
At the end of the song, people started clapping, and the container started to be filled with notes and coins. “If only our part time pays enough. But who cares! Dancing is so fun.” Riko had whispered to Aiko as they bowed.
Picking up their bottle, they started to rehydrate themselves, before the next song starts.
Their performance lasted several hours, until the sky turned reddish orange. Their last song was unexpectedly the hardest dance they managed to master. Your Seed by Hey! Say! JUMP.
It doesn’t really help that they only have two people, and they have to change some of the dance steps to make up for the number of people. A smirk appeared on the man’s face, as he looked from his seat in the café.
‘How are they going to modify this dance?’ Sipping on his coffee, he nodded and left.
“What’s with bringing out the song Your Seed today? It’s so tiring!” Aiko collapsed onto the floor when Riko started to pack the radio back into the bag. A sheepish smile surfaced on Riko’s lips, and Aiko could only shake her head. Well, Aiko knew very well that Riko was in love with the dance steps of Your Seed.
“Excuse me, but can I have a little word with both of you?” As both of them turned around, they saw someone that they didn’t expect to see.
Johnny Kitagawa.
“E-EHHHHH?!” Both of them shouted, eyes wide in disbelieve. Riko had than covered Aiko’s mouth, while Aiko does the same to Riko. Johnny just chuckled at both of their reactions, and he pulled out two of his name cards.
“I would like both of you to enter Johnny’s Entertainment.” Riko swore that she had almost fainted. Shaking her head, Aiko stuttered. “W-wait. We’re both girls. How can we enter your company?”
The man’s eyes widened in disbelieve, and only laughed when Riko made her shirt tighter, revealing her “womanly figure”. “I’m Takasugi Riko, and she’s my friend Sugihara Aiko. We’re both girls, and on top of that, we’re actually foreigners. Students, in fact.”
Johnny shook his head again, and gave both girls a friendly smile. “I don’t mind. The fact that both of you are actually girls is stunning! Your dance is better than some of my juniors! It made me want to invite both of you in even more now.”
Riko was now fiddling with her empty water bottle, and Aiko just stared at the man in shock. “But of course, if both of you joined. I would like you both of disguise yourselves as guys.” Contemplating on joining the Jimusho, Riko’s fantasy went wild, and Aiko was almost drooling at the fact that they would probably the happiest fangirls in the world.
“But, we would still have school …” Trailing off, Riko saw that Johnny was still firm on his stand.
“Don’t worry about that. We’ll do something to it. And it would be better to enter the company than street basking.” With that, both Aiko and Riko just gave into the invitation.
“From now, what would be your names, dear?”
“Takasugi Ryuu.”
“Sugihara Akira.”
“Good.”
When Aiko unlocked the door to their apartment, Riko started screaming and ran around the living room. “AIKO! JE! AHHH!” Jumping on the sofa, Aiko just smiled and joined Riko on the sofa.
“I heard that we’re going to have new juniors soon.” Ryosuke was resting his head on Yuto’s shoulder. He felt the taller boy nodding. “They seem to be scouted by Johnny-san. Probably awesome people.”
Yabu came into the dressing room, with a few papers in hand. A serious expression was plastered on his face, and he announced.
“The new juniors, Takasugi Ryuu and Sugihara Akira would train directly under us.”
“See what I mean by awesome people, Yama-chan?” Ryosuke just buried his face in the crook of Yuto’s neck.
The coming days would be interesting.
