Wao Yohka gets injured.

Dec 23, 2005 00:02

Wao Yohka fell off from platform with height about 2m (6.5ft) during W-WING performance on Dec. 21. She managed to sing a song without getting up, but was taken to hospital right after that. Her pelvis was broken, and the remaining performance of W-WING is now canceled.

I really wish she gets better soon.

Wow - the fact that she could keep going with a broken pelvis amazes me.

I got a news link too this morning from a japanese friend. (http://www.mainichi-msn.co.jp/entertainment/geinou/news/20051222k0000e040028000c.html )
Looks like all performances for December and January have been canceled and they say it will take about 1 month of rest for her.
I really hope she will recover soon and won't have any problems with the healing. ;__;

Goodness, first Idina, and now Wao-san. She was one of the first otokoyaku I was introduced to. @_@ I hope she gets better!

I let out a loud gasp! Poor Wao. But its serious dedication when she can keep singing. Just shows how wonderful she is in the end. I wish I could write her a get well soon card~!

I have sent a card... which will probably get lost in a sea of fanmail. But it was my first impulse, and it can't hurt!

She'll have no lack of fan support, but I suppose what she really needs is professional care, lots of rest and as little pressure as possible - and support from the people closest to her.

Especially for someone like Takako, I'm guessing it's not so much the physical pain as the whole psychological aspect of having fallen on stage, having to cancel the show (and W-Wing was meant to be a really good show), and having to spend ages resting and recovering. The sheer frustration...
