PS - If you are in Japan and it's faster, staff would definitely would pass it on for you. You could give it to staff during ticket-dashi. Or you could leave it at the stage door yourself. They have baskets just inside the stage doors at the Grand Theater and Tokyo Theater, near the guard stations.
Ah my goodness, that is such an incredibly kind offer; I know it's standard to pass only postcards and not letters, but perhaps as I am so far away the little breach in etiquette would be acceptable? Maybe a letter from Scotland is exciting enough haha
