I have a question for the Takarazuka-shi theater-going veterans. How long, would you say, do shinjin kouen performances usually take when it's a double feature (musical first, revue second)? Are there even shinko versions of the revue ( Read more... )

I attended the Officer and a Gentleman shinko - it was only the play (and I think it always is - two-act plays get shortened), so something like two hours without intermission, letting out around 8PM, with enough time to get to Umeda. The time usually goes up on the main site a few days beforehand.

Tickets are hard though ~.~ The toujitsuken line was epic, definitely everything sold out, and I have no idea how early you'd have to be to get one. I think all non-toujitsuken tickets sell to clubs and actresses and company people.

I agree with the above. I bought a ahinko ticket on auction so I paid a lot of money for a seat in the last row.
Shinko tickets are always sold out.

Ah, I see. Well, I don't think I'd be early enough to get Toujitsuken, coming from Kyoto and all, and I definitely don't have the money for auctioned tickets, so I guess I'll just have to stick to the original plan and go see the normal show sometime during the 10th and 13th.

Thank you both for the help anyway! ^^
