Touko's retired from Takarazuka - now her next move announced!

Arai Kei  is going to do a new musical "The Musical AIDA" and she will be playing the lead.
The show will run at Tokyo Kokusai Forum from Aug. 29 through Sept. 13, and at Umeda Arts Theater from Sept. 18 through Oct. 4.

Touko retired from Takarazuka yesterday and Haruno Sumire presented her the flowers from the 77th class.

Oh wow, this is great for her! She's has a brilliant voice, so I'm definitely glad she's going to continue performing. And to perform the same role both in Zuka and after... that's got to be a first for an otokoyaku star!

I love the musical AIDA more so than the opera version. I hope she's doing the one Elton John composed. That'd be wonderful. :D
