Hey guys! I'm curious.  Besides the people I already know who will humor me some nights, does anyone else like online rping?  Lately I've really been in the mood to do some rping, but I need to build up my buddy list with people who like rping also.

Just so I make myself clear, by online rping I'm referring to the type that usually just takes place

I honestly don't remember my AOL screenname. And now I'm actually thinking of making a new one just for RPing.

... and then I remembered I should have my screenname listed on my profile, and lo and behold~! And then, I found my file of passwords and important things to not forget so now I can actually *log in* to AIM.

All roads point to RPing, apparently. I am *so* never going to get any homework done this semester

That was an amazing example. I burst out laughing in the student lounge and was too embarassed to explain why. Sadly, I have no messanger and am currently living in Japan. And have no internet in my home here. Sigh.

I would be awful at RPing, I bet, 'cause I just don't know enough... trivia, I guess you could call it. Specific info on specific 'siennes. But damn, your example made me laugh all over the place.

Well, I've never RP'd anything via chat unless you count telecommuting to a DnD game (THAT was interesting; hooray for achieving new levels of dorkdom), but I can tryyyyyyy...

Omg, if we could get enough people it would be awesome to do a rp in a chat room! =o

Normally though, it's just one on one. It's really not bad at all. Just think of it as an impromptu fanfic you're writing with someone, piece by piece; except you're just in charge of one character. =)
