Had a great weekend introducing some of the London Gang to the joys of karaoke at the super-sekrit karaoke joint in Soho in honour of cienna's birthday. Also met up with the wonderful Occasional Supernatural Meet-Up people and had a riot. You guys are truly insanely fun. Also, you gave me free gay porn so I love you forever

Ah you are good learning your kanji, I've been terrible with keeping up my revision (bad me, no biscuit!) I'm still way too much of a n00b to read much, but I'm starting to understand some lyrics for which I feel insanely accomplished *Lol*
I also seem to be writing mini-essays in replies today, so, um... sorry ^_^

My kanji skillz are kind of shabby, and need to fucking awesome for 2kyuu JLPT so I have decided to put some actual effort into it. For once.
And yes, we shall have to find a day for you to come over and peruse my collection!

Heh, no probs - we'll probably meet at Angel station at 6pm, as usual, then wander over to the Weatherspoons whose name I've forgotten it might be the Angel, but I'm not really sure. It sells alcohol cheaply, that's all I know *Lol*

Oh man, good luck on that. Sometimes I think "What am I doing, I'll never be good at it!" but then I realise that I really won't if I don't practice ¬_¬ So, I'm going to get the workbook for the textbook I'm using and go through that until my next course starts in April. Then I might have a chance of remembering something!
And yes, we shall have to find a day for you to come over and peruse my collection!

As for kanji studying sites, I highly recommend this one:

If you register (for free) it keeps track of the kanji (and grammar and vocab if you want to study that as well) that you've gone through, ones you've made mistakes on, and you can study them in JLPT order and such. Awesome resource for studying! ^_^

As for Japanese vocab sites, I've tried quite a few, but my favorite is smart.fm. You also have to register, and then you sign up for lists to study. There are tons for 2kyuu vocab, which are what I use. It's kind of like a fun game as opposed to straight flashcard stuff and they also have sound and transcription. Actually, looking at the site makes me feel extremely guilty that I haven't used it in so long. XD I've also used the site that gnine mentioned above and it's good as well.

Those are great MS pics! And I kinda do the "let's practice English" thing at the restaurants I work at (sometimes the Spanish-speaking kitchen staffs ask me vocab questions). It can be interesting.
