This week I have come back from Italy, had a Japanese class for the first time in months, and finished editing two fics. I'm just so productive sometimes I surprise myself.

So, second fic in two days!

This is fantastic - I love Cas' slow awareness of his contentment with the boys, like a light bulb flickering on, even as his powers dim. It is a great juxtaposition for his character, learning while losing.

The characterizations of all them were wonderful, too, especially with Sam and Dean casually bitching and arguing like the brothers they are, and Cas enjoying their banter even if it confuses him sometimes. I really loved Sam trying to make him complicit in teasing Dean. So cute!

The point where Cas starts uttering words to hide himself made me smile, because I felt the weight of it lifting off his shoulders, the way it does any time you make an important decision and just DO it.

My pleasure! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. I really do love to see the boys worrying about Cas as I think he's so alone it's too tragic! And I really needed to write something happy after all the recent angst... It made me very sad.
