I seem to have this problem where I, as soon as I neglect posting anything here, don't post anything again until months later. The December Talking Meme was supposed to prevent that, but obviously that didn't work. To the people whose questions I never got around to answering: I'm really sorry! It had nothing to do with you ( Read more... )

Aw, sorry to hear you're wading through glue. Even when it's good, Christmas is very tiring.

Yay for cool songs and not Ed Sheeran (soz fans).

Hope you get your motivation back soon! and don't worry about the December meme! (I'm still running late for it, for example.)

The Hives are from the same town as one of the authors, upon which the fictional town of Engelsfors in the books is based, which makes it Even Greater
SO. GREAT. All of it. BUT I just realized I have no way to get hold of the psychical book, so I'll have to get an ebook off someplace. Do you have a favourite online bookstore perchance? And then I'm gonna race against the film release on dvd/in Russian theaters if it does well.

I'm down with Ed, too, though, I'm accepting that way.

In Swedish or in English? For Swedish books I always use AdLibris or Bokus, both of which have ebook options (Bokus is slightly cheaper in this case). Both have epub and AdLibris also has a PDF option; I've never downloaded ebooks from these sites myself though, so no idea how good the format is. If you're willing to wait, I could totally buy a pocket edition and send it over (the new movie cover is actually rather spiffy, unlike most movie covers).

For an English edition... I have no idea. Amazon might have it in ebook format?

I don't mind Ed Sheeran. I just like The Hives better. :D

Weirdly enough, I found one copy of the sequel in English in an international bookstore here and while even that is amazing, considering, but I would of course prefer to try reading it in Swedish.

Thank you for the offer! I might want a pretty hard copy some day, but for the moment I really have no confidence in the post service, so I'll try downloading an ebook first.

Okay, so, if you know of a way to bypass needing a Swedish zipcode/phone number at checkout (at AdLibris in this case), I'm all ears. I do actually have a personal number from my exchange semester, but I've no idea if it might have expired... Same with a sim card.
