Harry Potter - an H/D poem (crack)

Sep 18, 2007 01:00

He sat at lunch in Slytherin green,
his blond hair swept just so,
and deep inside his lion's chest
Potter felt his anger grow.

For Draco Malfoy was so cool
under the scrutiny
of a judgmental, divided school
who thought him a faery,

Yet Potter felt that he must hide
the same secret as he.
It wasn't fair that Potter hid
while Draco could be free.

So Potter strode across the hall,
his anger growing still,
and Draco set his silverware
and glass down full of swill,

And Draco stood, his wand he drew
and waited for his foe.
Now Potter was prepared for this
--Draco he well did know.

"Potter," Draco Malfoy said,
"Just what the hell is wrong?
Heard that I'm a queer, have you?
You want to play along?"

And Potter's anger reared its head.
"I think you know just what."
He reached a fist toward Draco
and he punched him in the gut.

But Draco was not without some
recourse, and he did rip
Potter's robes as he went down,
causing Potter to trip.

Potter it was did land on top,
their lips mashed in a kiss.
Twas but the first of many such
and a shared life of bliss.
