*hides in a corner* Omgggg, when did my life get so busy? I think somehow I thought I'd just have sooo much time this summer, conveniently forgetting that I'd be going on two week long trips, plus comic con, plus doing a class/project, plus lots of little things. And now, I am moving out. In TWO DAYS. Holy crap. I have to be out of my ( Read more... )

Miss their Santa Monica store :( Sounds like you'll be super busy but if you find yourself bored and near the 405/10 interchange you ought to get in touch.

Oh, but their new store is so much awesomer! It's a lot bigger, they have a Great Hall and a Platform 9 3/4, and the second floor has been converted into some cool potter-ish decoration. It's totally worth a visit if you are into that sort of thing.

Doesn't look like the new location is too far from the 405/10! Just uh. I have to be there at 4 pm for the concert and then after that drive all the way to the Bay Area so I dunno! I guess it depends how early I get going/ how much my mom and I get done tomorrow with the packing and all.

If I do get going at a decent time though, yeah let's totally meet up.

*Hugs*

You're indeed a busy woman! Gosh! I hope the move goes all right and that the Wrock Concert is fun! And that you get that project done asap. And I would totes love to hear about Comic Con! I really wish I was able to go for HP, SPN and Merlin! GAHHH.

The sad thing is, when I get home? I will be job searching, and that's about it. So yes this summer has been crazy busy (mostly in a good way) but there is a giant blank slate looking forward for me. (Which could be a good thing! I don't know!)

Comic Con always sounds more fun than it actually is; I feel I should say this. It is mostly standing in lines, and you have way more fun if you dress in a costume. Or I presume, b/c while I was there (no costume), nobody talked to me. Then I bought a Jayne hat and omgggg, like seven people talked to me. I am taking notes for subsequent years (if I go.)

I didn't go to any of those panels, sadly. I always plan for more panels than I actually end up at. Also, HP was in Hall H (scary, scary line; I've never been in it) and at the same time as The Guild panel, which I (and especially my sister, who only talked my ear off about it) were totally not going to miss. And I totally would have liked to go to Merlin and SPN, but I barely made the Glee panel, so.
