[There's a loud clatter, the voice function turning on first before the video flickers, shaking and shifting before the Device finally settles.

[There's a soft, animal whine in response, a loud scratching of claws against wood.

Riff, somewhere inside the monster's body, is fighting-- but he's losing.]

Would it help if I demanded that you heel and sit?

[Unlikely.

The familiar voice, however, helps a little, even if he's barely paying attention to the words. A large, furred snout appears on the video feed, dark nose nudging the screen wetly.]

[Just quietly watching. He's seen a myriad of creatures within this City that he had not seen in all of Krynn.]

[Feel free, then, to quietly watch the currently wolfy Riff tearing up the carpet in his room in vicious agitation. He's hungry. He's fighting it. He's losing.]

[Raistlin's voice is a low hiss.]

[He doesn't know the voice, though caring of any fashion is quickly slipping away. His jaws snap at thin air with a low growl and he vanishes from view again, though the sounds of things breaking are audible.

He could tear through the window or rip the door off his hinges, but he's trying not to, clinging to what's left of consciousness.]

...oh, my. The gentleman's... made a turn for the gentleman's canine companion.

[The 'gentleman' can barely hear him. A wolf snout comes onscreen, teeth bared and snarling, perhaps positioned within view of the camera only by accident. His claws dig at the ground in agitation, golden eyes hungry.]

Poor pet, lost your treat, have you? Poor, precious, precious pet. You ought to dig deep and deep and deeper, til your claws run raw. You ought to, you know. Don't think to stop.

[He's trapped, but the windows and the wood are fragile beneath his massive body and claws. The wolf tosses his head, teeth gnashing at thin air in hunger.

He vanishes from view, but the sounds of things breaking and claws ripping through cloth and furniture are obvious.]

[Don't ask where the broadcast is coming from, but a pair of eyes can be seen staring into the screen. This sound projects before silence.

[His ears perk up at the noise-- then flatten again angrily, lips curling back in a snarl as he prods at the device that made the offending sound.]

[Oh he will be enjoying this one...]

[Feel free to watch the show then, Alexis. Riff will just be whining, doglike, in pain for a few more minutes. He's scratching up the floor, the rug, the bookshelf, hurling himself against a wall.

It seems he's fighting the beast taking over his mind to the last. But he is failing.]

[No need to worry, Riff. Alexis will make sure to manipulate someone into getting too close to you while you're like this so you can have a lovely meal.
