Probably of interest to sarahloo and a few others ...

Stokes Croft Herbarium

A nice little botanical/art exhibition at the Emporium on Stokes Croft, Bristol featuring work by Andy Council and Tim Floyd. Got a nice little handout there which will be quite handy for my research into foraging food from the wild.

It's on until 18th April 2009.

Wow! That sounds like my *perfect* idea of an exhibition/event! Do let us know what it's like - unfortunately there's no way I can get over to Bristol in the next few days :(

Popped in on my lunch, it's a bit ramshackle - a fair few plants in there, sculptures by Tim which I really like, another one of Andy's dinosaurs on the walls - but quite pleasant. There have been a few events around it (which I've missed) and I think that would be the thing to draw it all together.

If you are ever in Bristol, would you consider putting some of your photographs into the Cafe Kino Open Submission Art Show, details here.
