D: You watched the crossover?? We can talk about that too! Do you need a download for last night's ep?

You know I agree 1000% about the Adam/Kono. It was so crammed in that there was no investment from the audience and all I could think was: "she's a cop...she's smarter than this...there is no way this ends well." You know I adore Adam and I would love to see more of him but if you are going to pull that relationship on the audience we need a bit more build up and a lot more tension. As it was it seemed to just be the magical coincidence that saved the day and made Kono look unprofessional. It didn't serve either character well and was generally lazy writing. I mean with Alex gone they should have had more time to slip in at least one more scene in a past episode to make all of that less ridiculously sudden.

I was going to say the same thing. If they'd spread the whole thing over a few episodes, it could have been so good! But now it's just "Oh hey, Kono and Adam and together and happy, no wait, now there's major angst, he pulls a gun on her, and hey, it's okay, Adam doesn't shoot her and gets arrested, THE END." WTF? Too much for one episode. We never even got the time to get emotionally invested in it.

Yes! I think it would have been so much better to spread it out. Like, a few episodes of her sneaking around, Chin getting suspicious, Kono realizing she shouldn't be doing this, etc. So we could see WHY she would put her job at risk and how this started. And, like, some actual development of the Adam/Kono relationship? Urgh, this could have been more interesting. SHOW, I AM DISAPPOINT. :(

Exactly. It would've been interesting to see some UST first, some Kono trying to fight her feelings maybe?

But yeah, that was a bit disappointing, because they had the making of something really great, if only they'd have taken their time!

The Mcdanno bit in this episode was great! It soothes me after the lack of Steve in the last couple of episodes!

I agreed about the Adam/Kono bit. I've always like Kono and her take no s*** and BAMF way, but in this one she's just a typical lovesick women and ddn look that strong either. I mean that girl can kick ass but she got duct taped?!

I was so happy to have Steve back!

Yeah, it didn't make Kono look very good. :/ I think she's smarter than this.

SO MUCH LOVE! The Steve and Danny made me so happy. There was some bantery worrying with the phone calls, and then some angsty worrying when Danny was kidnapped and he thought they were going to do something to Steve's plane. The best of both worlds. :D And then the hugs!! ♥ I love them so much. :)))

I like that we got the different phone calls. I mean, I feared it would just maybe be one phone call, then them separated doing their own things during the ep, and then the reunion at the end. So I was very glad that there were several phone calls and that they were very Steve/Danny-centric. :D

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. EVERYTHING IS STEVE/DANNY AND NOTHING HURTS.

That is EXACTLY what I thought. I kept thinking, if they'd developed Kono/Adam for a few episodes or over the season, I'd have some investment, but as it was, I didn't care. (Remember they did the same thing in the finale last season, with that last minute comment about Chin dating...(gorgeous Gov's asst, mind blank as to name)...then blew her up. As if that was supposed to make us care more.) Anyway...when they found Kono all taped up, I felt for her, but then she acted like it didn't even happen, like she felt exactly the same for Adam...um.., really? Yeah, that's plausible. Ugh. It was all really ham-handed.

I think my favorite part was at the end when it was like yay, team all together again, smiles and hugs. Or Danny saying he'd kill you if anything happens to that plane. I liked Steve landing the plane too.

Yes! Laura Hills. That's what it felt like to me too, like some random "oh, let's make this scene more emotional by throwing in some romance!" I would have liked it if they'd developed it over a few episodes, or yeah, the season.

Yeah, I felt for her too when she was taped up, but then the ending with her acting all weepy and lovesick was just...ugh.

Yes, those were my favorite parts too! Danny worrying about the plane, and Steve landing it, and the team hugs. And BAMF!Danny. Those were my favorite parts. :)
