Some of the staff there were definitely rude (not suprisingly), but yes, I think this was good to him, and not just because the results are so good - he got to see some of the value his music talents can bring to people - not just his past doctor talents. :)

I'm glad you liked that bit, that he saw he had something to offer besides 'used to be a doctor' :)

Thanks for reading!

I love that Greg is teaching Jeff the piano. Greg is keeping himself so calm it is a nice change from canon but makes sense with your fic.

Well, that 1st session didn't seem too bad. I was so worried that it would be real painful for Greg. Was it surgery?

Ah, see how I kept the details of what exactly the procedure was vague? ;) I'm thinking it was a bit of reverse brainwashing - to reverse the effects of what was done to him originally, but done in a much less traumatic way (no restraints) and using a light sedative this time.

Thanks for reading and commenting!

I can't wait to see what Grey does with his memories now. And if those will bring out the old House we know.

They had been rifled through and were a little creased. He wondered if he would be allowed to iron them.

I am not sure if you meant this to be funny or not but that last sentence really made me chuckle. :)

I like the irony in Greg being upset that his nice clothes are a bit creased :)

Greg has a lot of memories to get his head around, it's bound to change him somewhat I think.

It worked! That's so cool.

I can see House deciding freedom as a slave would be better than what he was facing, and he had no idea until it was too late that he'd cease being House once he was enslaved. I wonder whether Greg will look back and agree.

Well, it would have been a bit of a downer if it hadn't worked wouldn't it ;) I strongly suspect that Greg might have ended up dead in prison if he hadn't become enslaved so maybe it was the right decision, but his life has been pretty hard so maybe he won't see it that way.
