[It's another unplanned post to the network as we see Ukitake kneel in front of a teapot and teacup.  He's popular this month, or so the PCDs must think.

His cup already has sugar in it and he puts in a teabag, one that Hitsugaya will recognize as being a gift from him for Christmas.  Then Ukitake starts to pour in the hot water.

Ukitake-taichou ? Put that under cold water for at least ten minutes. Or use snow, it will be even more effective.

Good. Do not apply it directly to the burn, but on the area around it, and no more than 20 minutes. After you have done that, you need to keep it hydrated, with ointment if you have any. Nothing too greasy, or the heat won't evacuate from your skin.

I am reluctant to suggest this because of the food situation, but honey can help disinfect the wound if it seems to ooze.

Do not bandage the wound. It needs to stay clean but not confined to avoid infection.
