Speaking of TV....
There was a show on for about a month called SONS AND DAUGHTERS. I absolutely loved it and now it's gone. Do you know anything about it, oh great magnificent all-knowing TV guru? Will it come back? Give me a sign!

I never watched it myself, but I just checked with the good people at TV.com, and it looks like it wasn't picked up for a second season. Sorry.

It's at the top of the list of unjustly-cancelled shows that will come back. ;)

So Blake...any thoughts on AMC giving The Internet Jesus his own TV Pilot show? Warren Ellis on TV.....What an intersting premise.

"Internet Jesus?"

Well, if Ellis' TV work is anything like his comic work, I imagine it will swing back and forth between episodes that are near-brilliant and episodes that are so slowly-paced that even snails will switch over looking for NASCAR.

"Hey, man,
Why the heck did the Cartoon Network cancel Justice League Unlimited, while continuing to produce shows like Tom Goes to the Mayor and Moral Oral?
Theodore."

Can I field this one?

Cartoon Network doesn't produce Tom Goes to the Mayor or Moral Orel. [adult swim] became it's own network about a year ago, and while they're still shown on the same channel and owned by the same parent company, they are two completely seperate entities with completely seperate production staff.

A better question would be, "Why doesn't the Cartoon Network take some of the money they spend to import really bad anime like One Piece or Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo and use it to produce more Justice League Unlimted (or a Timmverse Wonder Woman series)?" Blake has already provided the answer to this question, though.

(And don't you go knockin' Moral Orel. That send-up of American nostalgia is priceless.)

You make a good point about Cartoon Network and Adult Swim being separate entities -- I didn't realize they'd made that corporate split.

But I'm sorry, I HATE Moral Orel. Come to think of it, I haven't liked a single new Adult Swim cartoon since Robot Chicken.
