It always astounds me just how much you invent for these characters in so few words; be used to that compliment because chances are, I'm going to end up telling you every single time. But not only that but the way you're able to just add onto it, and include such a depth of emotions as well... It's really amazing, and it hits just as hard and deep as it should.
And even with such a short set up it really does set the entire stage for the small bits of dialogue exchanged. They're realistic and I can hear the voices and the appropriate tones in my head; I know the entire setting and it's just so well-written and a scene perfectly captured.
esfjrihjtgtpe Ariiii <3 every time you tell me that I get so happy because I always see these huge huge fics and I just can't do that so whenever you say I do a lot with a few words I just grin like a madman :DDD guh, thank you so so much!
i love how you write little mr. hirschberg! <3 partially because you take what is obvious, why don't more people notice it ffs and you push it in that really base emotional manner with his egotism and his fear and :DDDDD i just love this!! and i really like it when other, lesser basterds get put in there too, and andy is kind of my favourite of that lot. (i have a soft spot for farm boys? idk? haha)
After reading your comment MY face is one giant :DDDDD so THERE! <3 Thank you so so so much! <333 (Hirschberg is my favourite but I love Andy toooo. God, I have too much backstory for the two of them, it's absolutely ridiculous)
Aaa this was very sweet, I loved it! Reminds me of the beginning of Slaughterhouse Five (my favorite book ever) where they talk about how the soldiers going to war were just kids, and war movies make soldiers seem so glamorous and fearless. It's nice to see something more realistic like this, just a kid in a scary as fuck situation. Keep up the fine work Tahni!
