Told my dad about my player piano project, so he took me out to the Boardwalk to see the Wulitzer Band Organs. I was actually able to go behind them, and watch them run with an eye on the actual mechanisms. It was so cool! And really, really loud.

Sadly no, no pictures. Also, was pretty poor lighting, so wouldn't have worked out to well.

I wanna see a really cool player piano built in a steampunk style, all open where you can see the workings, brass, really shiny!

May do that for the big project. Well, it wouldn't so much be steam punked as it would be authentic, which has the same look/feel.
