I'm with you friend. Day all set around watching this new episode. Now, nothing. Already expressed by displeasure to the CW about this turn of events via their feedback page. I hope they hear us and treat us right after this insult to our show.
It's not just me - everyone I KNOW has plans. My entire office is practically shutting down early. This is completely inconsiderate. At least announce it in advance!
My day at work was not the best. This news made it worse. I was so sad I cried during Vampire Diaries. And no, I won't be watching Vampire Diaries tomorrow. How would they think having an encore would improve ratings? And imho, American Idol sucks anyways.
I have people coming over tomorrow. We were gonna eat pizza and drink cheap wine and cry deeply and it was going to be amazing.
And sure, we can still eat the za and drink the wine and cry deeply (for a different reason) but seriously? We were all really looking forward to this.
Oh, and don't feel bad about asking off for a premiere. I totally requested off back in September when Show came back. I was working at Denny's and they had a habit of making me work every Friday night ever and I was all "Hell to the no" and oh, I would have been so so so pissed if the CW had bumped it then.

It really is inconsiderate. I feel like it's really unprofessional to just change your schedule at the drop of a hat without a real excuse, like, you know, national emergency/international panic/ world war III/zombies/etc.
I don't have an acceptable RAGE icon. I guess McGuyver will have to do. He makes shit blow up, so it's acceptable in a roundabout way.
