nice commentary!! I wish this episode were brighter, there were many beautiful Boy faces! :) Thanks very much for all the pix, I really enjoyed the "rewatch"!
I'm a little in awe of the brazenness of the wraith. I know the crazy people are crazy and all, but she's killing people at an INSANE rate! How often do they need to FEED? And also - she doesn't even stop to make sure the threat is neutralized, she just goes for Sam?
True. I would guess that going after Sam, and probably even nympho!girl, was her way of drawing out the threat to her, however, and taking steps to neutralize it. NymphoGirl -- the wraith was not surprised to see Dean and Martin show up, it seemed she was expecting them. Easy enough to set that up for Dean and Martin to take the fall, so that's an extra convenient reason to indulge at an ... ahem, insane rate. And going after Sam immediately -- the only remaining known hunter who could pose a threat to her, so take him down quickly. Or not, since she still needed to do the villian's monologue bit that ended as well as it always ends for villians. Because she assumed Dean was incompacitated, either by the orderlies or by his own crazy.

Your brain goes Xmen where mine goes Mortal Kombat. Loves it.

The funny part is, I'm definitely a bigger Xmen fan. I have years worth of comics to prove it. (Well, the bf does, but still.)
