Damn, girl, this was positively stunning! So evocative - Sam's, Dean's, Jo's, hell even the nameless others' emotions just roll off the page screen reading this! Wonderful stuff, babe. Powerful, wonderful stuff :)

Thanks! I like this one rather a lot, I vaguely remember writing it (so long ago in SPN time LOL)and I really enjoyed getting to use Jo. :)

As much as I truly enjoyed their ep, I was disappointed in how little screen time Rufus and Jo had. I'm not sure what Kripke et al could've done about it without cutting the Ellen-Dean scenes or the Sam-War scenes (which I wouldn't have wanted either) but, still... it was great to have Jo and Rufus back and I just wanted to see more of them :)

So glad you gave us more of Jo so soon after the eppy aired ;)

I agree. Hopefully the ep was a good set-up for bringing them in again later in the season. Seeing Ellen work was awesome, though. Always knew she had it in her!

I love the way you write them. When I read your stories, it's impossible to feel alone - does that make sense? ;)

I'm crap at remembering titles of stories, so I went to see which one Regeneration was. When I finished crying over it, again, came back to read this one. So bittersweet knowing how it's going to turn out. Love how Jo has turned into a strong leader, but still takes comfort from the brothers being there so she has someone to lean on for a while. Saving this one next to Regeneration in memories.

Awww, lol. Yeah, I'm trying to post them in order of highest impact. Not sure how that's going, but whatever. ;)

Glad you liked it!
