Was gonna wait til I was done but I had a really awful day so I decided to hell with it, I'll start posting it to the meme now and hopefully get some nice feedback :D

Hooray! I'm glad you like it :) It's a made up title referencing Stockholm Syndrome, so not a song. I was thinking about including a subtitle "(Lima on my mind)" to reference Lima Syndrome too but it was better without.

Um, no, it's not a song reference at all, it's a reference to the mental disorder Stockholm syndrome which develops in hostage situations and makes captives feel affection towards their captors. The partner to this is Lime syndrome where the captor feels affection for his prisoners.

I LOVE HOW THE FIRST PART ENDS WITH THIS GYAH PERFECTION. IT PACKS A PUNCH!

I just want to cry over how hopeless their situation is. Ugh Erik is caught between his two identities and Charles is, essentially, his prisoner who's just about given up and is basically just a shadow of his former self. He is stifled by his lack of freedom but then again it's not like has much of a choice.

Do you really think that after all this time, anybody is going to care what I said anymore? Surely they have bigger things to worry about than me.AUGH CONFRONTATION! I REALLY LOVE IT. BURRNNN ERIK. But no, seriously, I love that Charles just snaps. Erik treats him like a pampered pet and Charles knows his concern/affection/what-have-you comes from a genuine place but he didn't exactly sign up for the sex (which is hot by the way unff but sort of happened eventually ( ... )

I'm really glad you're liking it! I had a fic epiphany on the train yesterday so the next part is going to explore a lot more and we'll learn a lot more about the wider situation as well and how they got here.
