Me and my obsessions

I am a bad, bad person. I keep buying DVDs when I haven't finished watching what I already have. The problem is that I know I have the money so my willpower is about zip right now, and then Dad is sort of low-key disapproving and I feel bad about it. (I bought Lois and Clark Season Two yesterday, and just bought the first two seasons of Smallville ( Read more... )

My problem is that I don't have the money and yet still keep spending it.

Ah, the movie. Was it not the best? I totally loved it. Bryan Singer has been confirmed as a genius in my eyes, possibly even a god. I had my suspicions after X-Men, but know I know.

I loved how it was a superhero film but it was so much more interested in the human elements and the characterisation.

Superman's look after the guy shot him in the eye and the one he gets when he sees the crystals have been taken are so my favourite. And him going and re-energising himself in the sun. It was wonderful. And I liked Richard. But Lois bugged me.

In the movies I so don't ship Clark(Superman)/Lois.

Totally fell in love with doofus Clark. The wave he gives Richard and Lois that wave when they are talking about him. Haha.

I loved it. Character dynamics are my special pet love, and I lived for the moments where you could see that depth of feeling between the characters. I don't ship Lois/Clark in the movie, but it made me absolutely yearn for Clark. He was such a dearling, and I wanted to keep him to myself because it was so sharp.

That smirk after the eyeshot - oh god, that did things to me :D

Hey - would you like to stay at my house for the HPCon next year? It's no trouble, and it could be really fun :) We'd go in on the Tube each day.

Tell me about that smirk *fans self*

I want a Clark of my own. He's just a darling. I like Superman well enough, but I love and adore Clark.

I think I'm going to have to go and see the movie at least 100 times more and then i'll be buying the DVD as soon as it hits the shops.

Oooooo, I love that idea. I'd love to stay with you for the HP convention. Thanks hon.

Yay! I'm looking forward to it ^-^

I never call him Superman in my mind, he's always Clark. One of my big 'things' (for want of a better term) is the feeling of being safe and protected, which is why Superman would be perfect XD Have you seen Lois and Clark, with Dean Cain? Sometimes he doesn't wear his shirt :D His Superman is okay, but his Clark is wonderful. A really appealing character, and not as geeky as sometimes. Plus the no shirt thing.

I'm not sure I'll be able to watch the movie again for a little while, because I don't want to see it so often that it doesn't make me feel so strongly about it any more. I want it to stay special. So I'll go see it again before it leaves the cinema, but not just yet :)
