I get up for one minute....

 So I'm sitting in the living room painting today, and watching a movie, and get up for a minute to take a break.  I come back to find I've lost my space at the foot heater!  Geesh!  What opportunistic cats I have, especially the orientals!  If there's a heat source going anywhere, whether it's my little heater, or the heat vent, or the stove top,

What, do you camp out right up next to the heater as well?? Burn your hair on a regular basis? I can't talk, I put my feet right up next to my little heater too, lol! Also more of a struggle to keep the cats out of my lap when I'm trying to paint in the cooler months, they just don't understand. They want that warm body contact!

yeah, Dawn, every once in a while I'll see a feral one in a parking lot or something, and I always feel so badly. There are a few in our neighborhood, but you can't get near them. Skittish little things....there is a group here that traps, neuters and releases, which definitely helps keep the populations down.

And, I do have several former ferals, nice that they don't have to live that way any more. :-)

My Celia is a master of stealing your spot in front of the heater.
We have a small cafe table with some chairs in the living room, and I usually sit there with the heater (at full blast, on high, pointed directly at me!) every time I get up, Celia will steal my chair.
Now, she's gotten to the point to where she lays in my usual chair and waits for someone to turn the heater on for her.
Seriously, spoiled kitty!
Zigg Man, has given up his current outside catting adventures, in exchange for naps on the bed.

Neither of the cats, has resorted to sleeping in the clothes dryer...yet. ;-)

Still trying to get through some things and then I'll be doing your painting! geesh I don't know where my days go sometimes....oh yeah, what am I doing on the computer when I should be PAINTING?? lol

Looking forward to seeing the paintings though, and hope EBSQ is up and running soon, they've been having so much trouble! What a headache for them!
