Call me disgusting, but....

Yet another reason to love my beloved Taj Hotel (the former Ritz-Carlton) when Pearson is nice enough to book me a room so I can herd consultants to the office:

Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton would get wasted on martinis in the bar there after attending Robert Lowell's poetry seminars.

No. I was reading back issues of the Atlantic Monthly, and I came across an article from 2001 about McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA, and the fact that Robert Lowell, Sylvia Plath, and Anne Sexton were all patients there at some point. And my company has me stay at the former Ritz-Carlton to escort consultants and contractors around, and I've gotten tipsy at the Ritz bar several times, so I got excited when I read that Sexton and Plath did as well. I mean, Benny Goodman did, too, so there's a non-morose person.
