Death be not Proud - " . . . she's squished." taennyn May 9 2009, 03:17:03 UTC
She felt him coming before he came into sight, the scythe draped across his shoulders, body a loose slouch but his head up and his eyes alert.

She kept glaring at the masonry block, and felt him come up to stand beside her, big pulsing presence along her entire side and over her head.

" . . . she's squished," he repeated, his lip curling in mild revulsion but he didn't back away. "What happened?"

"Evidently no one ever told her not to pick fights with engineers." She kicked the stone, refused to wince at the reverberation up her leg. "I wanted a chance at her ( ... )

The management cannot recommend annoying the shit out of the Freemasons. *solemn*

Don't know the lady's name, but she apparently had enough of a reputation that the Morrigan was either theorising that she was another death (yay fighting!) or a bit of a throwback to legendary days (yay hero chomping!), and then she went and got a stone block dropped on her. The Morrigan is, as far as I can determine, rather offended that she didn't get a chance to poke the pirate-queen with a sickle point.
