Shoes: my secret love, victim for my perfectionism. I do not own many shoes but I can't pass a shoe shop - almost like a bookshop. I am in search of perfect shoes!

Hmm, interesting. I have little experience of reading girls' school stories - not the genre easy to come by here. I remember searching for stories about girls when I was a child... and then at 15, on school exchange in England, reading a book in my host family's house - which I still remember even if I don't know the author. It had girls' school! And sisters! And separated twins who meet again as teenagers! ;)

It sounds like an Angela Brazil, but I can't remember which one. And heaven knows school story authors recycled their own and others' plots often enough, so I could well be wrong!
