No matter what logic tells me, I can't lose my ability to be upset by Internet squabbles. Especially when they concern me and my friends. Even if nothing worse than an exchange of bad words happens.

~hugs~ They're not fun, are they. I hope whatever it is clears up quickly and without fallout for you.

The thought that it will all be forgotten in a week or so usually helps.
*hugs*

Maybe. But it's the first one that got so bad, you know? I hope it *will* be forgotten...

Unless a deep schism, with all the associated blame-shifting and side-taking mess, breaks out between your friends, it undoubtedly will. And if that happens (and that's what I'm going through right now with my online friends), I can only offer you hugs and cookies. Online cookies, whatever. People leave, people quarrel for no good reasons, shit happens, but it never gets any easier :(

Not between my friends, I think - at least, I still think my friends are sane. But there *was* a schism, it seems, a concealed one, and maybe it's better that it all came clear but it feels nasty. I honestly thought we as a fandom are better than that.

Online cookies are good cookies too. ;) BTW, are you going to SlashCon?
