Weird and wondrous things

I'm an Opera user. I like Opera quite a lot, and almost the only thing that made me sad was the lack of love between Opera and Google-nifty-things. I had to use only the most basic gmail setup and go to IE to change settings, and other googlethings were better left alone ( Read more... )

Why you like Opera so much?
Which advantages it has vs. IE?

Well, I first switched to Opera because I was told it's much safe virus-wise. Now... I don't know much about viruses, but among the things I like most in Opera are the ability to open many webpages in one window; the fact that you can choose any word on a webpage with your mouse and then right-clicking offers you the opportunity to search for this word (or phrase) with Google, look it up in web encyclopedia, translate between several languages (though not Russian). I think I use this search option the most, and also Notes - choosing and highlighting a part of text on a page you can also copy in to Notes, sort of a storage place for such scraps of text, so you need not open Word each time you see something on a page that you might need later ( ... )
