Finally, though it's a small factor, something he could relate to. And it was in form of good old grog shared between strangers that would, no doubt, be mates by the end of the evening!
All this good thought perked Jack up and he waved his hand in an anxious fit.
"Come! There be table and seats!" He lead the boy to the quaint table tucked away in the corner of the room.

Seating himself at the table he held the other bottle out for Jack. "What should we drink to Captain?" Oz asked, still smiling.

It was all very 'modern' though he would know it as no less then foreign and queer, "Ye got a good heart to be sharing a mercy such as this.." He leaned back in his chair and then straightened his back, moving erratically as he fixed the bottle open.
"Be it; to no one else that sees the woes swirling at the bottom of this bottle then I an ye to yer own!" With that he took a daring swig. His cheeks flushing more with the strong mixture of domesticated rum and ....flavour?
Bringing the bottle from his lips, "Aaaarrr!" The curve of his lips spread slowly as he was becoming very satisfied with his new heartie.

"Does the rum meet your expectations?" Oz asked taking a swallow of the drink as well, the smile still in place on his face.

"Arrr me be addled if me thinks this be me world, or Davey Jone's locker..." Saying the most obvious, as if he had a conscious for it to be acknowledged that he, in the very least, knew this much truth.

He pointed at the device on his wrist with one finger. "This little thing here, it lets you talk to everyone, also translates different languages so we can understand eachother." Oz frowned suddenly. "There is a drawback to it, you can't take it off or tamper with it. It'll shock you if you try, I wouldn't recommend messing with it." He should know as he'd gotten shocked several times already.
"So whatever reason we're all here, this House or the Host, whoever, whatever doesn't want us to leave until it says otherwise." Which was why he was drinking at the moment and glad of Jack's company. He was ( ... )

Taking a silent drink from the bottle, letting everything absorb with the alcohol in his stomach. Things like this, well, it just meant for a challenge. And he's faced sirens, giant squids, spiteful mermaids and woman. But they were all in his world, this house, this land was uncharted waters for him ( ... )

His grin widened as he to, took another another drink from the bottle of rum. It was good rum. Oz couldn't help but laugh along with the pirate.
"Do you know any good songs Captain?" Oz was in the mood to just have a good time, and the pirate was sure to know a few racey songs.
