Jack jumped for the door and flung it open with a wide grin to his face, "Aye! Me say boy! Aye come'ere lets partake in what we be taken in with this fine bottle of house rum ye be finding fer the both of us!" He greeted warmly his cheer evident in the tone of his voice as he had joyous rosy colored cheeks.

Finally, though it's a small factor, something he could relate to. And it was in form of good old grog shared between strangers that would, no doubt, be mates by the end of the evening!

All this good thought perked Jack up and he waved his hand in an anxious fit.

"Come! There be table and seats!" He lead the boy to the quaint table tucked away in the corner of the room.

Ozzie grinned at that older man. "Brought two bottles. One for you and the other for me!" He might not look it but he found he could hold his liquor fairly well, with practice he'd be even better. This pirate would be the perfect drinking companion.

Seating himself at the table he held the other bottle out for Jack. "What should we drink to Captain?" Oz asked, still smiling.

"To these most unsettling conveniences!" Jack teased, "And to the bucko's we will be!" He followed that with a joyful chuckle, reaching for the bottle. Eying it particularly, use to the shape but not to the print.

It was all very 'modern' though he would know it as no less then foreign and queer, "Ye got a good heart to be sharing a mercy such as this.." He leaned back in his chair and then straightened his back, moving erratically as he fixed the bottle open.

"Be it; to no one else that sees the woes swirling at the bottom of this bottle then I an ye to yer own!" With that he took a daring swig. His cheeks flushing more with the strong mixture of domesticated rum and ....flavour?

Bringing the bottle from his lips, "Aaaarrr!" The curve of his lips spread slowly as he was becoming very satisfied with his new heartie.

Oz couldn't help but laugh out loud at that. "Yes, to unsettling conveniences!" Leaning back in his own chair he waved off Jack's thanks absently as he opened his own bottle. "It's not a problem. You never know what kind of people you'll meet over a bottle of rum, eh Captain?"

"Does the rum meet your expectations?" Oz asked taking a swallow of the drink as well, the smile still in place on his face.

Jack's back straightened as he raised the bottle half way up, no higher nor lower then his lips as he smiled, showing off that bit of gold in his mouth, "It be meeting me expectations just fine!" A cheer as he took another swig, followed by a sigh of content.

"Arrr me be addled if me thinks this be me world, or Davey Jone's locker..." Saying the most obvious, as if he had a conscious for it to be acknowledged that he, in the very least, knew this much truth.

"Me bucko, where is it that we be? Ye know this much? Or be ye just in the same dinghy, me quartermaster candidate!" Curious brows rose as he inched a bit closer to hover his chin over the table, waiting to hear the great secrets that this boy here, might know.

"Glad to hear it." Oz said smiling even more as he saw the gold in Jack's mouth, and took another swig as well.

Leaning forward just enough to prop an elbow on the table the younger man grinned at the pirate Captain. "Oh, I believe I'm in the same dinghy Captain. I'm not sure anyone here really knows exactly where here is. Seems this House or whatever it really is, is collecting people from different worlds, different times even."

He pointed at the device on his wrist with one finger. "This little thing here, it lets you talk to everyone, also translates different languages so we can understand eachother." Oz frowned suddenly. "There is a drawback to it, you can't take it off or tamper with it. It'll shock you if you try, I wouldn't recommend messing with it." He should know as he'd gotten shocked several times already.

"So whatever reason we're all here, this House or the Host, whoever, whatever doesn't want us to leave until it says otherwise." Which was why he was drinking at the moment and glad of Jack's company. He was ( ... )

With the suggestions and gatherings of the young boy, which was all presented clearly enough, made Jack shiver internally. Which, externally, he wobbled and pouted as he moved to sit back in his chair.

Taking a silent drink from the bottle, letting everything absorb with the alcohol in his stomach. Things like this, well, it just meant for a challenge. And he's faced sirens, giant squids, spiteful mermaids and woman. But they were all in his world, this house, this land was uncharted waters for him ( ... )

Ozzie simply smiled more as Jack went on about how this place needed him. He couldn't agree more actually. "Yes. This place was obviously lacking something. Now that you're here I see we'll have some adventures ahead of us, Captain."

His grin widened as he to, took another another drink from the bottle of rum. It was good rum. Oz couldn't help but laugh along with the pirate.

"Do you know any good songs Captain?" Oz was in the mood to just have a good time, and the pirate was sure to know a few racey songs.
