hadn't been to berbati's since, well, since we saw steve (see previous post about accordions) play there, YEARS and YEARS ago.

district 9 is really fucking amazing and i encourage everyone to see it.

we went to this show last night at the crystal ballroom.  Oh holy shit was it fun.

our pal steve was playing, and we hadn't seen him in quite a while so we got tickets and decided to surprise him.  it was rad.

first up was Mood Area 52, guitar, accordion and cello.  a nice move into the evening, and man, can that guy yell.

what an odd scent. out of the imp it's light, slightly piney, slightly spicy.  drying i think i can smell the lime and mandarin, something quite citrusy.
