Oh, my. I want to have that desk's little desk babies.
And maybe we can make those second-generation desks more affordable.

Maybe if we can't birth them, IKEA will at least make a knock-off. Which would be beautiful, since the designer knocked IKEA.

And you're right, this isn't an extreme in the design price tag landscape, (I was expecting to see a $2300 ticket) but still - I do loathe the "spendy cuz it's trendy" mindset.

I appreciate that artists and designers want to make money, but still.....give it a reasonable markup, line it up for sensible production line, and knock plenty of those puppies out so I can pay $300 for one. $300 isn't ridiculous.

Though.....I would still want a bigger desk.

I'm pretty sure Ikea will rip this off pretty soon, but do it in wood. In fact, I'm a bit surprised they haven't already.
